A closed weekend is scheduled for weekends with special programs to encourage all students to attend and participate. During closed weekends, dorm students are not permitted to sign out overnight, and must be present during all required activities. An exception to this is if a parent picks the student up after prior Ad Council approval.

Our school serves completely vegetarian meals. We have a full salad bar and burrito bar available at lunch. Students have access to fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and breads at every meal. A weekly menu can be found on our school website on the first page at the bottom/quick links.
Village students must purchase meal cards if they eat in the cafeteria. At the first meal eaten in the cafeteria, a meal card for 10 meals will be given and $75 charged to the student's account.

Whether you are in the dorm or a village student, all must submit an Ad Council request form located in the school office for approval. The Highland Academy Flix Book is handed out to help students get to know each other at the beginning of the year. It contains student and staff pictures, birthdays, and where they are from.
