Bike Club
The Highland Hilltoppers Bike Club offers cycling opportunities on campus, on nearby trails, on the back roads of Sumner County, on greenways, and on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Emphasis is placed on aerobic development, bike safety, and bike maintenance. Cycling (like swimming) allows for no-impact, aerobic exercise that can be done for a lifetime, without joint injuries.

Book Box club
The Book Box Club is a reading club with bonus features. Each semester, students receive a box with the chosen book and themed gifts such as snacks, crafts, and decorations. The club meets monthly to discuss specific pages of the book in a question-and-answer format. The cost to join the Book Box Club is $30.

Girls' club
President : Rosie Fernandez
Both village and dorm girls get the opportunity to participate in fun activities that range from Christmas parties to cake decorating. The girls' club is the perfect way to build lasting friendships.

Guys' club
President: Curtis Ballew
Guys from the village and the dorm come together to partake in exciting activities that involve camping, lumberjack week, and Christmas parties. Guys’ Club is a great opportunity for the boys to hang out and get to know each other.

Journalism Club
Editor-in-Chief: Maggie Carlson
The journalism club gives students an opportunity to develop their creativity and abilities in writing, photography and videography. Students work in the journalism department communicate with students, KYTN elementary students, alumni, and surrounding community, and churches about the happenings on campus through our school newspaper, and social media.

STEM club
The purpose of the STEM club is to provide a variety of educational enrichment opportunities for students in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.

Student Association

Student Association plans lots of fun activites for students to enjoy. This year they planned our annual Fall Picnic, the informal and formal banquets, and even more. They help welcome new students and make them feel at home when they come onto campus.

Student Council
Co-Presidents: Fawn Ndyani and Sara Scott
Student Council is a group of leaders that are elected by the student body. They represent classes, clubs and the student association. Along with staff, they brainstorm ideas develop plans, and implement projects in partnership with the school administration to help make Highland a better place.

Yearbook club
Chief Editor: Sara Scott
The Chimes is the school's yearbook prepared by the students, and for the students. It is an organization that requires dedication, secrecy, creativity and many hours of hard work, but the rewards are fantastic! The Editor and Assistant Editor are paid positions and are chosen by the yearbook advisor and work coordinator.
